Courtney & Ashley aka “Cashney” have been working together for the past 12 years to create and inspire dancers. They have been seen dancing alongside, Kelly Rowland, JaRule, Deborah Cox, MTV, Macy’s, Disney & more. In 2015, they opened The Source Dance Lab, to pursue being educators and coaches in dance in order to create an atmosphere that molded dancers into athletic artists. Cashney is known for their unique style that embodies the athleticism of Jordan fused with the swagger of Biggie. Since then, their students have been represented by major dance agencies in NY & LA such as Clear Talent Group and Bloc. Cashney’s athletes have been featured in Netflix, “13 the Musical”, The Gap, Disney, Nickelodeon, Billboard, & more. Throughout the past few years they have had the honor of working with dance companies, high school, Allstar, and collegiate teams in the tri-state area. Some of their recent accolades include The Source Dance Lab Senior Worlds Team won the silver medal in 2021 USASF Dance Worlds, Cliffside Park Dance Team are the regional champs of Dance Team Union “DTU” 2020, Ramapo College Dance Team won the D3 NDA bronze medal 2022, and The Source Dance Lab won the 1st place title at World of Dance 2022 Junior Division. Their goal is to inspire athletes in and out of their own teams and companies to continue to push past the limits they thought they were incapable of. They hope to show the teams and students they work with that with passion, team work, discipline, and mental strength - anything is possible.
