Ramita Ravi is an artist and entrepreneur. She is the co-founder of Artswrk - a tech platform connecting artists with flexible work, with a mission to shatter the starving artist stigma for millions of artists. As an artist, Ramita is a professional dancer, choreographer, and educator with Bloc Talent Agency NY/LA and a proud member of AEA, AGVA, and the Choreographer's Guild. As a dancer, she was one of the first South Asians on So You Think You Can Dance and in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. She has also been seen in feature film Spinning Gold, Bhangin' It (Dance Captain), Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, NYFW with Hermès, Viceland, NOWThis, Mystic India: The World Tour, and more. She has choreographed for Coachella, Miss America, The Hollywood Bowl, Lincoln Center, and US/World Tours for Raveena and KSHMR. She has been on faculty with Liberate Artists, Headliners, Star Dance Alliance, Nexus Dance, and Groove and has taught at Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, Alvin Ailey Extension, Columbia University, and the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. Ramita is passionate about championing representation, equity, and innovation in the arts.
